Spring Break

Hi, I’ll go ahead and reintroduce myself since I have been M.I.A FOR SO LONG. I’m sorry. And my name is Hue if you forgot. :(

But I promise my absence is the result of a slightly insane Spring Break.

Words can’t really describe the week and a half of bliss.

But I can say it included St. Louis & Destin, FL. Snow and Sand. City and Beach. Family and Friends. Now you get why I haven’t had time to blog.

But anyways, to keep it brief I’ll go over the highlights of the trip. **Cue photo montage!**

My parents just moved to St. Louis so me and a few friends went there for the first part of the week to visit them. I must say, St. Louis is a pretty interesting city and it wasn’t to shabby being spoiled by my parents either.

It snowed 10 inches while we were in St. Louis. This is the Cathedral Basilica.

It is regal, holy and magnificent. And I'm not even Catholic!

This was pre-snow. The Arch is so cool. But I don't suggest going up in it if you have a fear of heights.

VIP tour of the Budweiser Brewery. Got drunk at 10:30 am. I call that a win.

The Sky Bar was definitely our favorite drink spot of the trip.

And the Missouri Athletic Club was our favorite spot we ate. It was a religious experience eating that cheesecake.

Now for the Beach! Destin, Florida is about as college spring break as it gets. Fleet and I flew down and met our sorority sisters for the remainder of the week.

Seaside is my favorite beach of Destin. Do yourself a favor and go.

Woah. Just relived eating this by looking at this photo. Goat cheese, prosciutto, arugula and tomato. Get in my belly.

I also recommend eating at The Red Bar and checking out Watercolor, too. A much needed vacation that was everything I dreamed of. My brain juices have been rejuvenated and I’m now ready to finish up the rest of this semester.

  1. Hey Hue, I really loved St. Louis. The Arch is amazing and the museum there is put together so well. We went to the Jewel Box Arboretum in the big park. Love you, and I love Dawes too. xoxo.
